The Frog Detective series, created by Worm Club, has risen to become a star of the indie game world, with the first two games having sold half a million copies, according to the steam page for Frog Detective 3.

Playing as the game's titular character, the world’s “second best detective”, the player is tasked with venturing out into the wild west, alongside Lobster Cop, solving the “conundrum of a sheriff-less county”. This task can only be accomplished by speaking to the quirky cast of characters and collecting clues in your notebook. However, not everything is as it seems according to the steam page, as it states that the “surprisingly simple solution to the case reveals a sinister scheme.”

In a similar style to the previous two games The Haunted Island and The Case of the Invisible Wizard, the game will be neither serious nor hard-hitting and is instead opting to provide light-hearted laughs and entertainment.

The official release date has not yet been announced, but it has been confirmed that the game will come out later in 2021. Until then, you can add it to your Steam wishlist!
