Titanfall sales are being discontinued. Respawn has shared the news on their social media.
Starting today, the original Titanfall game will not be available for purchase anymore through digital storefronts such as Steam. Players who still play the game via subscription services (such as Xbox Game Pass) will be able to continue playing it until the 1st of March 2022, after which the game will be removed from those services as well. Active players can still continue playing the game afterwards, as Respawn promises to keep the servers alive for the dedicated fanbase. The message does not say, however, how long the servers will be kept online.
While the original Titanfall will not be available for purchase anymore, Respawn reassures fans that this is not the end for the Titanfall franchise; "Titanfall is core to Respawn's DNA and this incredible universe will continue." So far, Respawn has reiterated multiple times that Titanfall 3 doesn't exist, so who knows what the future will hold for this franchise.
