Bioshock Infinite
PC (2013) - PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 (2013) - Nintendo Switch (2020)

When entering Columbia for the first time, your jaw is bound to hit the floor. The gorgeous view of a beautiful city floating in the sky is a very intriguing change-up from the underwater city of Rapture from its two predecessors.

With a mind-bending story, Bioshock Infinite is a stunning finish to a stellar trilogy that captivated gamers all over the world. The fascinating setting and alluring visuals enhance the experience all the more.

DuckTales: Remastered
PC (2013) - PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 (2013) - WiiU (2013) - iOS/Android/Windows Phone (2013)

The Ducks are at it again in a Remastered version of the original 1989 DuckTales game! With a new High-Definition remake, the game shines once again. As you take control of Scrooge McDuck, you travel around the world to search for five treasures to add to his fortune.

The hand-drawn character sprites are a beautiful upgrade from its original, though that was far from the only upgrade; the full game has received HD graphics, as well as a clear audio upgrade with a full voice cast that includes people behind the original animated series.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
PC (2013) - PlayStation 3 (2013) - PlayStation 4 (2014)

If Guild Wars 2 was the best action-based theme-park MMO, then FF XIV is, without question, the largest and most complete turn-based MMO to date. Not only that but every expansion or free patch released brings a slew of content and story additions that makes every game in existence pale in comparison.

It's disastrous beginnings as FF XIV and being "reborn" as A Realm Reborn was a fitting name to this monstrous game.

Tearaway (Unfolded)
PlayStation Vita (2013) - PlayStation 4 (2015)

The PSVita may not have had the best of lifespan and support, but that doesn't mean there aren't some incredible games that can be played on it. Tearaway is one of those games; it pulls you in with the charming visuals, light-hearted story theme and platformer-styled gameplay.

The same goes for the re-imagined version that was released on PS4 two years later; an equally charming experience that would be a shame to miss out on.

The Last of Us (Remastered)
PlayStation 3 (2013) - PlayStation 4 (2014)

Once again, Naughty Dog showed that they knew how to create a stellar game that raised the bar - yet again. The Last of Us gave us their twist on a post-apocalyptic setting with incredible writing, gorgeous visuals and an amazing cast.

There is so much more to the game than what we can write down in a little paragraph here; from the relationship that builds between Ellie and Joel to the depth of backstory of the side characters through collectible notes found throughout the game. The Last of Us is one of those gems that you simply cannot miss out on and we highly encourage you to play it if you haven't done so already.
