Don't you forget about it!
A decade after the release of the original Amnesia: The Dark Descent, it looks like Frictional Games is here to hit us with a new title. The game will be set in the Algerian desert and focuses on a new character, Tasi Trianon, which we recently heard popping up in a teaser. Today, Frictional Games has lifted the veil and shared the first information about Amnesia: Rebirth, their newest title.
The developer explains that Amnesia: Rebirth will not be a simple copy-paste situation from the previous game, since 'in horror, repetition is a deadly sin. We’re not simply going for a carnival attraction of jumpscares'. The upcoming follow-up is said to test you, unlike previous experiences have and will have you thinking about the things that scare you.
While no release date has been set, it is scheduled to be released in autumn 2020, both for Steam and PlayStation 4.
