The apes escaped once again.
Sony has shared a list of games that are coming to the revamped PlayStation Plus subscriptions. The list includes titles from both PlayStation 4 and 5, as well as older platforms such as the original PlayStation, the PlayStation Portable, and also PlayStation 3 - which will be available through streaming.
The revamped service will regularly have updates to add new titles to the catalogue. The Essential plan will continue with the monthly refresh on the first Tuesday of the month; the same as what PlayStation Plus members get today. The Extra and Premium tiers will include an additional refresh in the middle of each month. The number of games will vary per month.
Depending on which tier you choose, you will be receiving the following:
PlayStation Plus Essential
The Essential plan will be the renamed version of the current PlayStation Plus subscription that we know today, meaning that you will get the same benefits as PlayStation Plus members get today, including:
- Two monthly downloadable games
- Exclusive discounts
- Cloud storage for save data
- Online multiplayer access
PlayStation Plus Extra
- The Extra tier will include everything in the Essential tier
- A catalogue of up to 400 PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 downloadable games from both PlayStation Studios and third-party partners
PlayStation Plus Premium
- Includes everything within the Essential and Extra tiers
- A catalogue that adds an additional 340 games from the original PlayStation, PS2, PS3 and PSP. PS3 games will be available through streaming, whereas PS1, PS2 and PSP will be downloadable
- Optional cloud streaming access for all titles (PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP and PS4) across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC
- Time-limited game trials for players to try out select games

Time-limited game trials
A select amount of games will feature a time-limited trial for players to try out if they are interested in buying the game. You can play it for two hours for most games and the counter will only start once you are in the game. Buying the game afterwards will carry forwards your progress, trophies you earned, and save data.
