PlayStation to give away The Uncharted Collection and Journey for free

This free giveaway only lasts for a couple of weeks so make sure to grab it while you can.

Today, PlayStation president Jim Ryan has announced an initiative for helping out Indie developers during these times of hardship. With $10m set aside to help keep the companies alive, Jim Ryan said that the Indie scene "is vital to the heart and soul of the gaming community and we understand the hardships and financial struggles that many smaller gaming studios are facing."

A bonus for those stuck at home is PlayStation's other initiative to gamers while they wait out their days in hibernation. Starting April 15th, Sony is giving away Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey (all fantastic games) until the 5th of May. Unfortunately, those in China and Germany will not be getting Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and will instead be receiving Knack 2 as a replacement. No reason was given for this strange switch in titles.

How long this crisis and isolation will last is unknown, but with Uncharted (and Knack 2), there is plenty to keep you playing for many days.
