Psyonix has released Rocket League Sideswipe worldwide for iOS and Android. The new mobile game was released two months ago for Australia and New Zealand and has now been made available for the rest of the world as well. Australia and New Zealand were previously part of an alpha test of limited duration alongside the announcement of the game back in March.

Rocket League Sideswipe brings the fast-paced arcade-style action that Rocket League offers to mobile phones with touch controls and support for controllers. While the gameplay will be familiar to Rocket League players, the difference lies in playing in a 2D space moving left and right, rather than in the 3D stadia that the original game uses. You can play 2v2 or 1v1, both locally and online. Alike Rocket League itself, Sideswipe will be following seasons - with Season 1 starting later this year.

If this tickles your interest, then head over to the Google Play Store for Android or the App Store for iOS to download Rocket League Sideswipe for free.
